Foley & ADR

Foley is the act of adding sound affects into a video using everyday objects such as celery as a bone crunch or watermelon for squishing blood and organs. This is a more practical way of acquiring sound effects then actually breaking peoples bones or smashing their organs.

ADR is the re-recording of audio over an already recorded piece for either showing a show in another country or censoring what was originally scripted.
