A Quiet Place

Dialogue: there is very little dialogue within this film causing it to be more suspenseful as the characters are not communicating in the usual way with each other. ADR is used in this scene to give the creature its voice so to speak and make it more terrifying.

Ambient Sound: You can hear all the small details in the background such as the little amounts of metal of the axe he picks up and the atmosphere with the wind.

Sound Effects: The sound of the spaceship in the background when the child activates it after being not to.  

Non Diegetic/Diegetic: Diegetic sound is off screen sound such as backing music and diegetic sound is on screen such as a radio playing music. An example of this is when the child in the beginning scene is shown to use a electric spaceship toy as you first here it off screen then its shown on screen in the hands of the child.

Post Production: The voice of the creature in this scene is added in post created using different sounds combined as well as the sound effects of the
